Have an Exam
Dr. Choi will perform a physical exam, which includes evaluating your mobility. He might have you do specific movements to see if they trigger pain.
Step 3
Complete Imaging Tests
Often, Dr. Choi will order imaging tests like an MRI, CT scan and x-rays. This helps him to see the anatomy of your spine, confirm a diagnosis and understand the extent of your condition.
Step 4
Start on the Path to Feeling Better
Dr. Choi will then determine a diagnosis based on your imaging tests, consultation and exam. He will explain his findings in detail using images to show you the areas of concern. Finally, he will provide personalized treatment recommendations.
