At your consultation, you’ll talk with Dr. Choi or Dr. Pyun. They’ll take the time to understand your concerns, needs and goals. They’ll ask about your symptoms and pain and go over your medical history. They’ll also answer any questions you may have.
Step 2
Have an Exam
The doctor will perform a physical exam, which includes evaluating your mobility. They might have you do specific movements to see if they trigger pain.
Step 3
Complete Imaging Tests
Often, Dr. Choi or Dr. Pyun will order imaging tests like an MRI, CT scan and x-rays. This helps them to see the anatomy of your spine, confirm a diagnosis and understand the extent of your condition.
Step 4
Start on the Path to Feeling Better
The doctor will determine a diagnosis based on your imaging tests, consultation and exam. They’ll explain their findings in detail using images to show you the areas of concern. Finally, they’ll provide personalized treatment recommendations.
